Mordred was founded in 1985 in San Francisco, USA. Initially part of the San Francisco thrash fraternity of the eighties, Mordred starting making a name for themselves by incorporating funk influences to their sound, which back then was quite a novelty. Though most of their debut “Fool’s Game” was standard Thrash Metal (with the exception of “Every Day’s A Holiday” and a cover of Rick James’ “Superfreak”)
